A spectacular evergreen shrub, Fatsia japonica 'Spider's Web' produces impressive, serrated glossy-green leaves highlighted with a frosted lacework of light webbing giving interest in any season.
Boasting a number of common names, including 'Japanese aralia' or 'Castor Oil Plant', mature Fatsia produce exotic umbrellas of creamy white flowers, followed by attractive deep purple, almost black, berries.
A perfect plant for any gardener to grow, including complete novices and seasoned professionals, 'Fatsia japonica' will grow well in almost any garden and is a great plant for those particularly difficult shaded areas, where others may struggle - in fact they perform best in light, dappled shade, making a glossy backdrop for other plants with amazing palmate leaves.

Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.
Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.
