A bounty of flowers can be seen stretching along the upright and fleshy stems of this perennial. Each dainty bloom produces green petals that surround a signature black centre.

The show begins from spring, as green leaves coat the stems of �Black Pearl� to wake up your garden in style, followed by summertime black-eyed clusters of adorable flowers, which inspire the name of this Euphorbia.

What�s more, while some evergreen spurges can look a tad drab outside the flowering season, this will continue to look healthy, full, and remarkable, regardless of the month.

The compact nature of this Euphorbia, far more so than many other varieties, make it an ideal choice for your sunny borders.

Position in a sunny spot with moist, well-drained soil, spaced 45cm apart.
Cut back the faded flower stems when they start to die back. Remove a third to prevent seeding.
When working with spurges, always wear gloves since the milky sap is poisonous and a potential skin irritant.
Remove unwanted seedlings each spring as part of routine border maintenance.
